CarryON Live — Brother In The Wild

Last weekend we headed down to Dorset for the 10-year celebration of Brother In The Wild. Bikes, pizza, campfires — and a barn full of people.

We started with an old Brother Kepler frame — rim brakes, stuck BB, seized seatpost. The kind of bike that might otherwise sit unused.

Over the weekend, we gave it a second life with a full CarryON conversion.

Sam got things moving outside, adding disc tabs and preparing the frame.

Then we brought it into the barn and finished the build live, while Craig talked through what CarryON is, how it works, and why we built it — opening things up for questions as we went.

Alongside the CarryON, we also spoke a lot about our framebuilding courses — and what it’s actually like to build a custom frame from scratch.

For a lot of people, it was the first time seeing both processes up close.

A big thank you to Brother Cycles for having us, and to Graham Ashton for the photos.
