On this page please find deets, specs, build inspo and ordering options of our latest iteration of this majestic machine. We will be making a small batch of frames in 2024 ready for your Spring fling, warmer weather and all of those things that the rapidly decending winter will have us dreaming of. We envisage the batch being made of mostly custom builds but if there is room and parts left over we will build a couple of stock for purchase here at a later date – Not many if any! – as all of the yoke and dropout parts will be 3d printed to order. Custom sizing and geo available at no extra cost. WHATS THAT YOU SAY! It is what we do best and so we are sticking to it.
So! announcing plans with a faint pencil ring around early March for a build-time if you’re in the meerkat for a mega whippy, loose cannon, crazy horse of a monster cross bike then don’t delay! Drop us an email or get your order in below and start readying the stable.
New to the Spring batch 24 OGPLUS builds will be all new 3d printed yoke and dropout parts designed by the bike master maker Hulsroy specifically for STAYER. Hulsroy worked with us and the fine folks at Ram3d to create elegant and lightweight 3d printed versions of his classic OGPlus yoke design as well as a new flat mount version of the understated and yet iconic Allotec C40 modular dropout system. Currently these are available with all of the Allotec insert options and a UDH to follow at some point either by us or through an Allotec supplier or BFS in the US.
The Hulsroy OGPlus yoke is 75mm between the inside faces of the yoke part giving room for a 2.4″ tyre to run with a road 38t chainring and wide axle crank. We tie everything to a 68mm T47 BB shell and send you 2 x 2.5mm spacers giving you all the options for mullett or road in almost any crank variety imaginable — apart from square taper which tbh if you get in touch I would also be able to offer.
Whatever speed you ride a Stayer frame it is made to last by folks who know bikes and how to put them together and are also – quite fortuitously – the folks who you talk to when you get in touch to ask questions or to place an order. Designed, made, sold, marketed and most importantly ridden by the Stayer Workshop in East London. We are bike makers and we ride and sell our own stuff and are pretty chuffed about it!
Choose your frame size – either one of our ‘off the peg’ sizes or choose custom if you have fit info to send. Then choose dropout and brake routing options and finish. If there is any current stock it will be listed on the frame stock page and available to purchase from there. With this form you are ordering a custom frame only built to order as part of the Spring24 OGPlus batch. Made just for you, just how you want it by the fine folks in the Stayer Workshop. Orders made before the end of Jan 2024 will be included in the Spring24 batch. Everything thereafter will be added to our custom order lists.
Every frame is finished and painted to spec so please expect a 4 week wait* in addittion to your build time for this process to occur.

*Subject to change at any time. Whist we make every effort to stick to our turnaround times for such a custom process things can be delayed for numerous reasons. We try very hard to get your frame to you within the time stated but some outsourced processes, materials or components supply, or shipping can be out of our control and hope that you will bear that in mind when talking to our staff and outlining your expectations. We will however make every effort to keep you well informed if delays occur. Every frame is at a minimum routed and finished to your specifications. Once that process starts the frame is custom to you and refunds can not be given.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX
Stayer OG Plus frame / R 12mm thru axles / rear mech hanger / cable routing bosses / stainless steel button head bolts for bottle bosses
Thus follows the geo chart for standard sizes as well as a separate sizing guide chart to suggest stuff like a guide stem length and saddle height etc for each size. If you are still befuddled after these numbers then either drop us a line or have a think about if you land between sizes – everyone is different – in which case maybe a conversation about a custom build might be an idea.
It is always worth chatting to a fitter if you are thinking about a custom size bike – there are many good ones but the most important is to find someone you feel will listen to what you want out of a bike rather than just tell you what you need. There is nothing quite like a personally fitted machine but also it could be the case that with good fitting and parts choices you will sit nicely on something off the peg so don’t despair if it initially seems confusing or not quite right. Get in touch if you are unsure and we will try to point you in the right direction.

There really is no better upgrade to a bike than a hand built and balanced set of wheels. Add to that a one to one service from the Stayer builders and a true and spoke replacement policy for any non crash related issues, we believe you will experience the full force of the master wheel builder small business feels from your new set of Stayer wheels.
You can also order your Stayer OG Plus frame as a fully built bike! Also as a rolling chassis (frame and wheels) or with a fork of many differing variaties. Although the build and purchase options are extensive and numerous so we are going to caviat the below basic pricing info with a statement that anything is possible! If you are into a full build then we are here for you and can help with parts suggestions outside of the basic guide prices below. We can also help you with a custom build or putting your bike together with some bits you already have. We are also very keen to work with your LBS so ask about how we can make that happen.
