Clément Super Audax Di2
Clément wanted a bike that would be good for long distance - more about comfort and clearance - and the main brief was to build the bike around a fat road tyre, specifically Challenge Strada Bianca 33mm road tyres. We built in space for slim light mudguards and room for frame bags for packing the essentials with extra pannier rack mounts on the front and back for larger loads. The lighting system is internally routed from the Bentley Components fork ends to the E3 Supernova tail light. The frame is a mixture of lugged and lugless construction with a recessed and integrated seat post clamp bolt and internal Di2 and brake cable routing. I have also brazed on some cable guides for a paired down mechanical setup for more remote touring. Clément is currently running a Praxis works super compact crank set and Shimano Di2 group and has a very smart pair of silver Hope RS4 rear and Schmidt SONdelux front on H+Son Hydra disk wheels built by Judith.
