Cargo Fest is a day in the workshop dedicated to cargo bikes, second lives, and good company.
Right in the middle of our April CarryON First Wave installation window, weβre opening the doors and inviting you in.
Part launch.
Part open workshop.
Part hangout.
What’s Happening on the Day
Open workshop β The Stayer workshop will be open throughout the day. Come in, look around, and see CarryON builds at different stages.
Live CarryON conversion β One full conversion will take place during the day and be filmed live, with the process shown on monitors so you can follow along without crowding the workshop floor.
Tester rides β Try out CarryON builds and different cargo setups.
Paint & finishing examples β See real-world paint options and finishes in the flesh rather than guessing from photos.
26β³ MTB Show & Shine β Hosted by 2ND LIFE Bikes & Babyldn (biased judging guaranteed).
Brand support on-site β Including Wizard Works, Velo Orange, Brooks England, Freshtripe, Schwalbe and others.
Beer from Pretty Decent Beer Co. β Proper local cans to keep things civilised.
Vegan food from ABC Canteen β Good fuel for riding, talking and lingering.
Youβll also be able to see CarryON conversions completed earlier in the week β fully built and ready to roll.

First Wave Installations (13-23 April)
Cargo Fest Day sits within our First Wave installation window β two weeks dedicated to CarryON conversions at the Stayer workshop.
If youβd like your own 26β³ steel MTB converted during the April launch window, bookings are made via the CarryON product page.
Cargo Fest is supported by a growing list of brilliant brands and friends of Stayer, including Brooks England, Wizard Works, Velo Orange, Freshtripe, Schwalbe and more to be announced.
Theyβll be around during the event β showing products, answering questions, and generally hanging out.
The CarryON is modular by design. Alongside your conversion, you can configure your build with a range of optional upgrades and compatible components, including:
Dynamo front wheel upgrades
Hope headset upgrades (with colour options)
Banana Banana stem
Child seat setups (including front-mounted and top-tube options)
Mudguards, kickstands and everyday cargo accessories
You can explore the full range here:
If you want to understand the thinking behind the system, these videos are a good place to start.
