These places are very limited as we try to offer as much customisation as possible. Our All Road build will be a TIG welded steel frame with a carbon fork. Stainless dropouts and hardware and customisable for a number of options including size and geo from Bike Fit data.
Paint can then either be a custom powder finish in single colour or close colour fade or booked in with a painter of your choice.
Our All Road build is a light, exceptionally strong and comfortable steel frame for long distance 700c or 650b, mixed use versatile riding and racing. The design is based on Victor's All Road custom build and use a Columbus Spirit/Life tubing mix using their flat mount chainstay system. We use these on our Groadinger's and find them strong and lightweight as well as a good shape to weld to the Bear Frameworks hooded stainless steel 142x12mm thru axle dropouts. Flat mount also gives you an amount of future proofing for different brake mount systems.
There will be two bottle cage mounts as standard but a third can be added under the downtube if required. The rear brake routing would either be internal, through the downtube, with the gear routing external - in the traditional way with downtube barrel adjusters and an under bottom bracket cable guide leading to a clamp on front mech - or fully external along the underside of the downtube which might appeal more to those looking to use soft bags as the normal setup.
The carbon AR Disc fork from AERA Components gives clearance for a 700 x 38mm tyre or a 650b x 47mm tyre. It also has mudguard mounts and the option of with or without internal routing for a dynamo lighting system (we are finding many people opting for this for an ultra distance or bike that could double for commuting and winter training).
All bottle bosses and mudguard mounts will be stainless and dead end to stop water ingress into the frame. The frames are also rust protected inside and out before paint.
The BB shell will be T47 in size to allow for all current crank types to be fitted apart from square taper. If you require a standard BSA BB for a square taper crank then please say and we can make this happen. Also with either Di2, eTap or mechanical, in this case it is up to you what you are looking to fit or would require routing for. If you are going for the AERA dynamo fork you may be into the seat-post for internal dynamo routing they also do. If so please say and it can be arranged.
We can also offer competitive pricing on Ritchey finishing kit, Ingrid Cranks and Cassettes, Apidura bag systems, other components and full bike builds by Clever Mike. Get back and say what you think and we can get some prices over to you.
